The Story So Far...

In March of 2419, the USS Odin was commissioned as a border patrol vessel and set out from Providence Station.

During their first mission, they countered a Romulan vessel under attack by marauders. They engaged the attacking craft and scattered them, but discovered that the Romulan vessel was unlike any they had seen before. It was also unmanned. An away team went to investigate but while there, the ship took off. The Odin and her fighters pursued, until they neared the Romulan border were two manned craft met them and took control of the vessel. The Odin was able to get back their away team before all the ships disappeared into their own space, leaving the Odin with a mystery.

From there, the ship returned to Providence Station for repairs, already finding the need for new personnel.

After repairs were completed, the ship set back out on its patrol course. Unfortunately, she did not get far.

The USS Odin encountered a previously uncharted black star and was caught in the gravity well. The combination of both this and the attempts to escape it led the ship being displaced not only through time but space as well, landing the ship near Earth circa 2037: World War Three. It didn't take long to discover that not only had the ship been displaced, but several of the crew had as well. Interference in the atmosphere thanks to the war and Earth's deplorable conditions made it difficult for those still on the ship to determine where this crew had ended up: whether on the planet or in space.

Missions using shuttles disguised by holo-emitters were sent out to try to locate the crew. Many were on the planet's surface, but one team lost the chief of operations to space junk while the other crash landed on Earth. They were able to rescue several, including the dying chief counselor, before the ship found a way to beam home as many as possible...many who returned dead.

Eventually, the "slingshot around a star" method was used to get the ship back to 2419. It was successful, except they learned that what happened while they were in 2037 had changed the timeline.
