In the years since it's launch, the USS Odin has met new species, experienced an alternate timeline, and now set forth on a wagon train to the stars to help establish Unity Station in the Kiir System as part of a joint project with the Federation's newest members: the Sal'kiirans.
They will help make the presence of Starfleet known in this new sector of Federation space and come to know the mercurial, multi-faceted Sal'kiiran people while establishing this brain new starbase. In between these tasks, they will still uphold all of Starfleet's edicts of exploration and discovery.

The worker bee landed silently and expertly, with just a slight bounce, as the thrusters spiked in power slightly before turning off. Until now, Zhiv had never set foot on a station outside of the Sol system, as all of her assignments had been within the Sol system. So, for her, this was again exhilarating and also weirdly exhausting as there were so many ''new things' to experience, like different kinds of coffee.

There were two places that Zhiv loved; it was technically one place, but located in two different types of spaces. Either way, they were the helm console and the flight deck/hangar. "El-tee," the deck chief said, spotting the junior hellm officer enter the flight deck.
"The workerbee you requested is ready," the deck chief said, handing her a PaDD. "We have had some issues with the maneuvering thrusters, nothing major, but it should be fine," the deck chief continued.
"....again," Zhiv said, sounding exasperated, seeing as she was the one who worked on those last, "okay, do you have diagnostics?"…

This was the first time Zhiv had some downtime that she didn't spend learning and preparing for whatever might come. "Coffee, black, hot, uh, no, sorry, cancel that," she said quickly, remembering what her academy counselor wanted her to try. "...um, let's do green tea, with lemon," she said with just a little sigh, as she did love her coffee.
