"One way to get the most out of life is to look upon it as an adventure."
– William Feather
Exploration. Discovery. Questing.
In the years since it's launch, the USS Odin has met new species, experienced an alternate timeline, and now set forth on a wagon train to the stars to help establish Unity Station in the Kiir System as part of a joint project with the Federation's newest members: the Sal'kiirans.
They will help make the presence of Starfleet known in this new sector of Federation space and come to know the mercurial, multi-faceted Sal'kiiran people while establishing this brain new starbase. In between these tasks, they will still uphold all of Starfleet's edicts of exploration and discovery.

The Odin's (if not Starfleet's) largest officer lumbered towards where the computer told him Ensign Tychon was located. Heavy footfalls and a long shadow announced his arrival, even before the rumbling basso profundo did.
"Ensign, d'you have a moment?"
Last time Weirdo had seen the Sirran, he'd been wearing Engineering Gold, rather than the Command Red he was sporting now. Still the same Lieutenant Commander pips though, two gold and one black.
The man with the wild curls – also in uniform, these days, though wearing fewer pips by far – looked up from the PADD he was reading. There…

It was the next day. Somehow, it felt like a lifetime had passed already.
They hadn't caught Commander Petrova's murderer yet. Honestly, she really shouldn't have expected that they would...but a girl could hope. The investigation was proceeding. There were clues left that they could move on, and they were moving on, but still. Brynhild wanted to know. She needed to know and see justice done.
However, what she also needed was a first officer. The ship had a standard second officer, of course, but she wasn't sure that was who she wanted manning second chair right now. Lieutenant Veera…

Mission: Unity
Posted on 18 Jun 2026 @ 3:38pm by Captain Brynhild Kleim & The Narrator & Ensign Unknown 'Weirdo'
Time had both narrowed and expanded – there was no other way he could describe it. As if time itself had become fluid and he moved through it or past it in a way which did not quite fit with regular perceptions.
First things first. All steps were laid out in his mind's eye, an easy sequence: first this, then this, then this.
He had walked away from T'sal and the forensics team with a curt: "Keep me posted," and tapped his comm badge next – the badge, ineffectively cleaned, still bore some darkening stains. "Tychon to captain Kleim."
Brynhild…

Mission: Unity

ATTENTION ALL STARFLEET SHIP CREWS: RETURN IMMEDIATELY TO YOUR SHIP AND REMAIN ON BOARD UNTIL SECURITY IS ABLE TO SPEAK WITH YOU. A CRIME HAS BEEN COMMITTED ON STATION UNITY AND IS BEING INVESTIGATED. MORE INFORMATION TO FOLLOW SOON.
The words blared authoritatively across every speaker built into Unity Station, making sure to reach every corner where any Starfleet ship crew member could be...
Zhiv jumped slightly. It wasn't something you heard.
Her legs began moving as her mind processed the announcement. What kind of crime would require everyone to return to their ships? Theft? Sabotage? It couldn't be murder,…

Mission: Unity

Unity Station was on lockdown.
There was no keeping a murder quiet for long, even less so if you actually wanted to investigate it. The Starfleet ships would have to work in coordination with the civilian security service of the starbase, which was a predominantly Sal'kiiran force, although there were a few Starfleet officers as inter-group liaisons.
The meeting that Captain Kleim needed to have now was the sort that no captain ever wanted to have. In truth, few ever did.
Lucky her.
Governor Nya, given the option, chose to come aboard the USS Odin. She was accompanied by another…
