Cydwenn strolled back into the labs after lunch planning on doing some more cataloging of projects. She knew it wasn't her job but not having an accurate catalogue of active projects was never a good thing. Putting her lab coat back on she picked up her tablet to see where she left off. What she didn't notice there was another scientist in the open lab. "Oh...um hi," Cydwenn said with a small smile.

"Ensign," Rosine nodded with a smile. She'd skipped most of lunch in order to be able to get some of her bearings again in the Science labs. She still felt like she'd lost a lot more than a few weeks. The entire ship felt strange and alien to her, but she'd been smart enough to keep that to herself. "You're Ensign Sov, right?" she added after a short silence.

"Apologies y ye yes I am ensign Cydwenn Sov," Cydwenn said holding her hand out to the other science officer. "Can I help with anything?"

Rosine's eyebrows rose involuntarily, almost like a Vulcan. "Relax, Ensign, I'm not going to bite," she smiled, taking the sting out of her statement. She really wasn't going to bite. Yet. Usually. "I'm just going through the usage logs of the past few weeks to see if anything stands out. Perhaps you can give me a summary of your own activities the past few weeks?"

"....well with the loss of the chief I have been working on cataloging all the projects...err all the active projects which is a lot." Cydwenn said.

"I'm sorry for your loss," Rosine spoke with empathy. It sounded strange to her own ears, because she knew she should remember their chief as well, but she *didn't*. After a pause which felt adequate after a statement like that, she continued. "How far along are you in the cataloguing?"

".....just a little over a third of the projects. Between reading up on them, checking in on the project leaders and then writing up essentially a progress report on them." Cydwenn said setting a PaDD down on the table so the lieutenant could take a look.

Rosine picked up on the cue and scrolled down the information on the padd. It was thorough for sure. That was good. She was a stickler for thoroughness. Nearing the end of the scroll, she started nodding. "It seems like you've been doing part of my job, so thank you for that. You think you can complete it and get it back to me?"

"Yes I can do that. I can also color code all the projects based on almost done, mid-way, just started and have not started." Cydwenn said with a smile as she realized this was where she excelled.

"Sounds good to me. Make sure I receive them in backwards order. First the not started, then the just started, and so on," Rosine was all business like as she handed the PaDD back and fired up a console to see if she could access the Ensign's progress from there as well.

"Of course,' Cydwenn said with a smile taking the PaDD. "....I have at least 3 on my list today I might be able to get to 5 it all depends on the status of one of them.'

Rosine nodded. "Excellent, well, good luck, Ensign."

Cydwenn smiled picking up her PaDD, "thank you. I'll check in with you at the end of the shift." Cydwenn said as she turned on the PaDD to see who was next.
