Mission: Ab Intra
The being--who had forgotten his own name by now--that had taken over the body of Lorelei Romanov was smart, and he was also pissed.
Since escaping that man on the flight deck, the being had been able to do a little research on this vessel away from prying eyes. This information led him to the conclusion that this body, while an easy target, had been a bad choice. She was low ranked with little to no access to any important functions of the ship, so she would be useless in gaining any sort of reasonable control. Even just getting to someone else in the ship who would be useful was likely to be plagued with troubles.
Now, the being had been able to learn that there were two top-level persons on this ship with all access and all control.
Captain Mallory Thorne, Commanding Officer.
Commander Kristiana Petrova, Executive Officer.
There were two problems, however.
Some of the beings compatriots had already tried infiltrating the captain, but Thorne was in that incomprehensible category of resistant. That was still an aggravating phenomenom and one he wasn't able to examine because of this body's lack of access to either medical or scientific facilities on this ship. Even the leaders of each of these groups were not on the ship, along with the executive officer...which was problem two.
He was able to determine, after a time, where these person were. They were on the planet.
That was interesting.
The being wracked this body's brain and memories, realizing that while this body's access was limited, the flight deck was a place where smaller vessels were kept and she had access to those vessels. Not just access, but ability. She could use one of these small vessels, which meant that the being within her could use her to go down to the planet. The storms--the being's compatriots--would make way for him, after all.
Getting back onto the flight deck unnoticed proved to not be nearly as difficult as the being expected. The commander was nowhere in sight, and no one else that saw her walk on deck paid her much notice. He wondered if this should have been the case, since this wasn't the deck this body was usually on. This was the place where the...shuttles were kept, rather than the fighters this body was trained and employed to fix.
He slipped into one of these devices and quickly surveyed the controls, combining what he saw through this one's eyes with this one's memories and figuring out what he needed to do.
Alarms started to go off when he sent the command to open the shuttlebay's doors, but there were no alert conditions on the ship so nothing was locked. The doors responded to the shuttle computer's request and opened, a field popping into existence to keep the atmosphere inside the rest of the bay. He steered the craft out through the doors before anyone figured it out and tried to stop him.
Calls started coming from the ship, but he ignored them. This being knew that one of his kind was on the bridge, and he hoped that one was smart enough to let him go...
