The still agitated lieutenant paced the small area inside the lift, she continued to clench and unclench her fists, as she paced her mind went to, {what did the lieutenant not want me to see?} Madalene thought, taking her PaDD out she sent a message to that operations officer that just got cleared by medical for active duty.

Lieutenant Veera,

Meet me at the computer core, ASAP!

Madalene quickly hit send, before stepping off of the lift and quickly making her way to the core. As another thought entered her mind, {would the lieutenant track me?} She thought as she arrived at the core, but instead of entering she waited gonna allow the lieutenant to enter so that way any records show that Madalene did not access the core.

Callisi noticed the message on her PaDD. How curious... though a number of reasons flashed into her head. None of them spelled a good picture for her department head, whom already she had difficulty figuring out. She sent a quick reply back through the same means, assuming that the Chief of Operations had misplaced her comm badge, and then the rabbitess took off like a shot once the door before her allowed. One quick shot down the turbolift later, and the Daughter of Ts'usu was rounding about the corner to the access doorway to the main core, where she met up with Madalene. A puzzled look spread across her features, "Is everything alright?" she inquired. The message stressed urgency, yet the chief was just standing here. Was the door locked? Was the computer core off limits to Ops for some reason?

Did she forget her own code? And yet, there was her comm badge.

Questions, questions why so many questions. Madalene thought, "I need you to open and access the core," was all Madalene said hoping she didn't need to pull the I am the chief card.

"Is there a problem with your access, ma'am?" Callisi did indeed raise the primary question. Something didn't feel right, nevermind the dull pain behind her left eye had returned. She tried not to show any signs of distress.

As the agitation continued to rise, something new came with it paranoia, though Madalene had no idea that she was feeling paranoid, "no, but as one of my officers," Madalene said putting a emphasis on the 'my', "....I need to make sure your access codes work and that you know how to access the core if I am incapacitated, or for whatever reason unable to to get to the core."

Callisi gave a nod, as though that solved the ordeal in her head. A few taps on the panel next to the door, and the door lock disengaged and the door swished open. "Door access looks good. Next, core access." she announced, turning to allow Madalene to enter first. Once the pair were through, she'd secure the door behind them.

"Good, good," Madalene said walking in glad to see the lieutenant securing themselves into the core, "....now access the core and I would like you to access the ops console and," Madalene thought, before asking the next thing, "as well the command chairs display."

Callisi padded over to the central core access terminal, and signed in, practicing the expected level of caution concerning her authentication. Once she was in, "Access confirmed. My door access and terminal access are authentic, I suppose a few tests shouldn't hurt. I'm assuming you want the Ops panel on the bridge, to coincide with your request for seeing the Captain's chair display?"

"Yes yes yes," Madalene said, her agitation getting the better of her again, well truth be told she hadn't gotten control of it really.

Such impatience. A human trait she didn't admire that she often found in herself. A few taps on the console, and the bridge Ops panel was echoed to the terminal where the Daughter of Ts'usu worked. "There we are. A flawless echo." she stated, more impressed with herself than she wanted to sound. She then closed the echo and brought up an echo of the...

"Hmmm. I don't have the authorization to echo the captain's chair console." she stated. She wasn't disappointed. Rather, she expected something like this. "My access codes seem to function within my authority." she paused, before logging off of her terminal.

{That Vulcan bastard, he locked us out! He is hiding something, yes he is.} Madalene thought, her fists clenching and unclenching, causing the small cuts on her palm to become deeper. "Next moves, next moves, next moves," Madalene whispered to herself, as she tried to think of potential next moves, "yes, right, I need you to go to the bridge and make sure the shields stay at this frequency, and the deflector dish fires at this intensity at this location," Madalene said, sending the data to her PaDD.

Her lengthy ears twitched. Apparently, they weren't just for heat dispersion. Her PaDD giving a ding pulled her from any question she was about to have. "Yes, of course. This is in regards to the project you, mostly, told me about in the infirmary." she recognized the parameters, but mostly the broad strokes. Not the details. Most of this was decided while she was comatose.

A shame. She probably would have interesting input into the situation. With a nod, "Will there be anything further?" not that she wasn't half expecting more to pop up later. That was the job, after all.

"Yes, stay in contact with lieutenant Dering, chief engineer, ensign Sov, science officer, and a petty officer Pasgen, transporter specialist," Madalene said simply, "this is the team that has come up with this plan. If anything comes up these are the people that can help," Madalene added.

Callisi gave a nod, her hair and ears giving a slight bob as she did. A motion she'd regret in a few... oh, there it was.

"Yes ma'am." and with that, the rabbitess made her way to the door to go through the motions to leave. Unlock the door, wait for it to open, then pass through. To the Ts'usugi, this was a test. An odd test, but it at least verified her access across the board. Verified where needed, and indicated its failing where necessary.

The last time the pair would see each other for the moment was when the door shut, sealing the two apart. Moments later, the door clicked as the accessway was once again sealed, per protocol.

Looking at the console, Madalene sighed knowing she would need to log in which would most likely alert the ops officer. manning the console on the bridge, but she needed to do it to get the echo.

After a few seconds Madalene was confirmed and logged into the core, tapping a few button she pulled up the echo of the ops console on the bridge, and moved it to her PaDD, with that done she logged, and turned to leave which required another use of her to code to leave the core. Heading to her quarters where she could keep an eye on things from there, the paranoia was ramping up again, at least in her mind.

=/= End Log. =/=
