Mission:
Past Prelude
Location: Rok X, somewhere in orbit
Timeline: Sometime prior to rescue by the Odin
Tor'Arn walked quickly through the dreadnought towards its command center. Had he been of any other rank, they would've stopped him long before he got to where to where he was now, but being a High Admiral had it's privileges.
"Out!" He barked, as the junior officers in the room scrambled to leave, all except for 2. One was a Captain, sitting with his back towards Tor, staring straight ahead. The other was a woman, with no visible rank insignia.
"Is it ready?" Tor asked simply, moving forward towards a holographic display of the ship.
"It is, sir. Permission to speak freely?"
"Speak!"
"I don't like this, sir. Why not just join the protests like everyone else? You know this could end worse than you think!" The Captain shouted, standing up.
"Because change will never come if we just sit idly by and protest peacefully!" Tor shouted, turning back towards the display. "On my command, engage the engines."
He entered in a few commands, nodding. "Engage."
Everything seemed to happen in slow motion, the dreadnought's engines engaged, and at first it moved forward, hitting several smaller battlecruisers before angling itself downwards towards starboard, causing it to move down towards the planet. Hundreds of ships swarmed from the planet and nearby spaceport, trying to get tractor beams to stop the descent, but it was fruitless. As the Dreadnought hit the surface, a small personal craft was launched, but the resulting shockwave destroyed almost every ship in orbit, those that weren't crashed into each other and the surface, and the small craft was severely damaged as it broke out of the atmosphere.
