Personality & Traits
| General Overview | Sovok is a studious vulcan. He enjoys peace, tranquility, and control. Numbers do not lie. Physics do not deceive. With a starship at his fingertips, the fate of battle is within his control. Like his emotions, he wishes as much control as he can. People, especially humans, are an enigma to him. His former Captain would always preach about their emotionally unstable nature which could best be demonstrated with a drunken wrestling match challenged by the then Cadet Benjamin Sisko. Sovok was not one to disagree about matters of academic anthropology but he held reserved doubts. He found humans resourceful but frustrating. He ventured to understand them more but not compromise his own emotional mastery. | |
| Strengths & Weaknesses | Notable Traits: Advanced piloting skills, increased physical abilities, hyper intelligence, psychic abilities, and tactical acumen. Flaws: Cold personality, socially distant, no grasp for linguistics. |
|
| Ambitions | Sovok dreams of one day retiring from military service and living a quiet, peaceful life and perhaps raising a small family. Within his career, he aspires to reach the rank of Commander. | |
| Hobbies & Interests | Sovok enjoys kal-toh, academic debate, physically demanding sports, and mastering his reflexes through games of skill. |
History
| Personal History | At almost two-hundred years old, Sorok never knew life before humanity's influence. He was raised in the more tolerant, understanding, and accepting vulcan society. At a young age, Sovok showed aptitude for physics and other higher mathematics. At an early age, he was set on the course to pursue training at the Vulcan Science Academy, and upon graduation, enlisted in Starfleet. |

| Service Record | Within Starfleet, Sovok excelled at his studies and duties but fell rather short on social activities. The driven vulcan did not care for the company of other races, and what few vulcans he could spend time with were just as distant as he was. His skills earned him a commission quickly, but is failings kept him from many promotions. The height of Sovok's career began in the Federation-Cardassian War. Posted to the T'Kumbra under the command of Captain Solok, Sovok excelled. The all Vulcan crew suited him well. Each day he waited for jokes about his name being similar to his captain's, but they never came. Such seriousness was comfortable for Sovok. Sovok earned the rank of Lieutenant during the Dominion War and assumed the posting of Helmsman of the USS T'Kumbra. The vulcan ran vessel saw much combat during the Dominion War, and during it, Sovok's name became well known among the piloting community. After the War, when the T'Kumbra was decommissioned, Sovok was reassigned to Starfleet Academy's flight school. He taught there as a professor and flight instructor for several years before taking a leave of absence to seek civilian life. Awards: Starfleet Medal of Honor, the Star Cross, member of the Grankite Order of Tactics, and the Christoper Pike Medal of Valor. |
