History

Personal History Young Kristiana came to the world on a farm outside the small village of Vengerovka, Russia. Her mother and father had always wanted a boy instead, something that stained Kristiana's youth, growing up against an ideal she could not meet, raised in a very tomboyish manner. Taught to hunt and to fight, taught to work hard, she grew up a woman of strong principles but deep insecurity.

This only exacerbated after she had joined Starfleet and shortly after her first commission, her mother died of an illness and she was unable to make it to the funeral. Her father, a strong family man, never forgave Kristiana for this. Although he tried to hide it, this added to the disappointment of Kristiana having been born a woman rather than a man, and he slipped into a deep depression, one that would eventually lead to him taking his own life, a few years later.
