Physical Description | Tavrus is a tall, well-built man, with a medium tan skin tone, a small beauty mark on the right side of his face above his top lip, kinky black hair, and eyes that are an eerie grey, due to them being bionics that were used to replace Borg implants which had to be removed. His most distinguishing mark is only visible when he is unclothed and is a series of implants along his arms, legs, and one large one where the spinal implants were fused with his spine during his incubation period, leaving doctors completely unable to remove them. It gives him the appearance of having an externally reinforced spine. |

History
Personal History | Tavrus Saral was born on El Auria, sometime during the year 2265. He was assimilated, along with nearly the entire rest of his race. From that point forward, the only thing he ever knew was the Collective. For the next one hundred and twenty years that would be his entire life. In 2385 the Borg sphere he was assigned to unintentionally wandered into Alliance space, and due to a malfunction in the vinculum found itself unable to communicate with the rest of the collective. Cut off, and in total chaos, the sphere was easy picking for the Alliance vessels that responded to the incursion. Only three drones survived the attack by the Alliance vessels, and by the time they were finished attempting to help them, Tavrus was the only one that survived long-term. Thankfully the doctors working on him were smart enough to realize that they had removed too much of the technology their bodies were relying on the survive. By the time they got to him, they removed only that which they could be sure would not kill him. This left him with many implants still intact, and still functioning, including the spinal implant that completely encapsulates his entire spinal column, and is visible as external implants that run the entire length of his back. At the point he was released to return to living outside of a medical facility, in the year 2407, Tavrus was approached by both the Alliance military, and several groups that offered him contracts to work as a scientist, using the vast knowledge he had retained from his time as a drone. Because of his ability to see the horrifying truth that the Borg represents Tavrus chose to join the forces of the Alliance as a military scientist, focused on using his knowledge to help ensure nothing like the horror of El Auria could ever occur again in the Alpha quadrant. He would spend the next five years in the Alliance Military Academy, learning how to function as a member of the Alliance, and also how to best put his scientific knowledge to use to fulfill his goals, and further the goals of the Alliance as well. He has spent the last thirteen years doing that service, before retiring and taking a civilian contract, feeling it better served his goals in the long run, and now finds himself assigned to the USS Odin as a Science Officer. |
