Personality & Traits

General Overview Relatively calm and easy to smile, the Trill woman is often slow to speech, weighing her words with care. An overachiever, she wished to be a counselor even prior to her bonding, but her training was pulled on hold for her binding. She also has an artistic side, drawing sculpting and painting in her free time.
Strengths & Weaknesses Strengths: calm, easy going, slow to anger, well thought out in responses, book worm

Weaknesses: tends to take the middle place in arguments, tries to see both sides and often will not choose a side, poor shot, loner, doesn’t tend to offer an opinion unless asked, struggles with physical activities
Ambitions Honor her symbiot and the binding, explore space, seemingly on a mission to see all the places her symbiot has been before as a study in seeing them through the new bond.
Hobbies & Interests Art, philosophy, books

History

Personal History Born to two scholars Quinle was quite the bookworm as a child, she spent most of her time in her room with a thirst for anything that was there to read, a trait which her parents enthusiastically supported. When she aged they wanted her to test for a symbiont but she was reluctant until in a philosophy class she read works of a bonded elder Trill had written, then she volunteered for testing and was found to be a good candidate.

Thinking she may never be chosen as it was rare, so she just continued with her studies and settled into an academic life, philosophy a passion study on the side as she worked on her medical degree to eventually become a counselor. Most of the way through she was called to make the bond and it seemed to go easily enough, her symbiont says her philosophical nature allowed her to give up a sense of self to accept the sense of other.

Taking time off school, she and her symbiont delved deeply into her interest in philosophy, while the symbiont taught her to appreciate the arts, something she had shied away from due to her bookish nature. Now she tends to relax with art or listening to art as much as she might a book.

Once she did return to school she finished her degree and was accepted in the academy, better at learning intellectual things over the physical she struggled with that part of the academy, barely scraping by.
Service Record This is her second ship, she had spent two tours on her previous one, her Captain on the other ship found no fault in her service and wanted her to advance but she was pleased with her place. Her lack of ambition led to conflict between her and the Captain enough she decided to ask to be reassigned when her tour was complete. Her record is exemplary with the footnote that she has a distinct lack of ambition and drive.
